pablo222 Posted December 30, 2017 #51 Share Posted December 30, 2017 Thanks for the heads up.I had to go dumpster diving to find the email. Called my TA and told her that I received a Princess Insiders email offer for a 5 day at $65 per. Deck 11 Inside stateroom. I can’t afford to pass it up. :) 5-day on royal in November was $49. See if you can hammer them down. There must be lots of upset people who paid 'normal prices' for cruises, and are now having princess do this to them. cruiser113 Posted December 30, 2017 #54 Share Posted December 30, 2017 I found the email and followed the link for the 10-day cruises. The prices were gone. But fortunately, I was able to get us booked at a great price on the Regal for a 7-day cruise (Feb. 18). It's nice because we've never sailed on the Regal before--and I did not have to bring DH totally back to earth with an inside cabin because a balcony was such a great price. My travel agent at the big box store couldn't believe it. He mentioned that it's cheaper to cruise than to stay at home. Not quite. We got a little bit of onboard credit for booking through the big box store, plus the OBC for our FCDs and my shareholder credit. Those combined will cover our gratuities and have a little bit left over for a few drinks. thought we might get to sail with you again...........but we decided to do the 10 day on the Royal instead of this one. We received great prices on the Royal 10 days and the Regal 7 day. Hope you and Sam enjoy the Regal.
caribbeanboy Posted December 30, 2017 #55 Share Posted December 30, 2017 we paid each $728 for 15 days (5-10 days) on the Royal from Nov 25-Dec 10 in a balcony!
coolcagolfer Posted December 31, 2017 #56 Share Posted December 31, 2017 Thanks for enlightening me. I also had trashed the casino rate e-mail from Princess. Pulled it up and got a $99 per person inside LA to Cabo to LA 5 night. We used credits from Princess to cover the $99 (which were given to us because Island Princess was one day late leaving FLL in December). So, basically free, plus port charges.
