BCN to JFK

We have been to Barcelona and I remember the airport was about 30 minutes from the port. We have a Symphony cruise that returns to Barcelona mid week, 10/24/18, 5am. Is a noon flight home to JFK too risky? We know that there can always be hang ups in port customs and we don't remember how chaotic BCN is. Any advice? Thanks!

A noon flight would work well.

I did a cruise out of Barcelona last Xmas/New Year's. Had no issues getting off the ship.

1:30 flight BCN>JFK with a two hour layover in LHR
