Rare Ken the cruiser Posted January 2, 2018 #51 Share Posted January 2, 2018 My comparisons included same O club numbers. First Crystal NOW includes free internet, on 2 devices per person. Grats are always included. My TA gives OBC on Crystal (not as much as O but close to 7%). No O life (you are paying for this) but free drinks. Not heavy drinkers but a Henricks Martini or G&T x 2 persons plus a glass of wine at dinner per day is considerable on a 26 day cruise. I will be waiting till summer (12 months out) to make my booking as likely O will not sell out nor will Crystal. The good thing we have choices. I just did the figures on those 2 cruises and even though Crystal was a little more expensive ($570/day/pp) versus Oceania ($508/day/pp with OLife - $1,000 air credit), Crystal would definitely get our vote as well. We enjoy Oceania, but Crystal is simply worth that extra bump! They've got a great promenade, great food, great entertainment, 50+ things to do on sea days, magic shows, great veranda cabins and to top if off they have Louis playing "What a Wonderful World" as you sail away! As you can tell our maiden B2B on the Serenity last May made a wonderful impression on us. They may be a little more expensive, but they're worth it if you can afford it. Add the 2.5% discount at the 180 day point for full payment and don't forget the Crystal Society discount.
