Coral- recent WiFi experience? Works well or?

We will be on the Coral for 15 days and may purchase the "sale"

for minutes. Is it working ok, like for our Kindles?

I appreciate the responses! Then we will not be so focused

on finding a place with WiFi when in port.

We were on the Coral 11/21/17 - 12/6/17. We had a great time doing the Panama Canal.

The WiFi worked very well for us on our phones. It kept track of your usage every time you logged in. The thing we use most was putting our i phones on "WiFi calling" and calling our kids at home. Since we are platinum, we have 250 minutes each of "free" WiFi. This way there were no charges for our phone calls. Slick deal.

I found the wifi varied according to where you were in the ship. It was weak in our stateroom.

 

I got strong signal while sitting out on the promenade on deck 7. Also the signal was good if I sat in one of the centrally located lounges midship decks 5, 6, 7, 8.

 

I think it was fine for checking email, misc browsing etc. Not good for downloading books on Ipad or kindle.

Thanks for the comments and hints. Even if it is not so

great in our cabin, we can hang out in a more public area

and get what we need;
