Pre Cruise Time to kill

I am flying on an overnight flight on Friday night prior to my cruise from Miami. I am flying to FLL and arrive at 5:50 am. I am planning to take a shuttle to a Miami area hotel for breakfast and kill time until my 11:00 Vista boarding time and Uber to the port. I am looking for a hotel that will hold my bags and is within walking distance to a local store to buy my wine and soda to take onboard.

 

 

I am thinking about the Intercontinental but not sure about walking locally to get drinks. Is this hotel close and within walking distance to a store? Or is there a better hotel for this that is also close to the port with a nice restaurant for breakfast?

Yes, the Intercontinental is a five minute walk to a CVS where you can get water and soda.
