boca7 Posted January 1, 2018 #4 Share Posted January 1, 2018 Was there a lot of noise from above ? Depends on the location of your cabin.
Rare Hlitner Posted January 1, 2018 #5 Share Posted January 1, 2018 No problem with cabins on the Marina deck as long as they are under other cabins. We tend to avoid cabins under a pool deck because of noise from above...especially if chairs/loungers are being moved. We assume you are already aware of the postage stamp balcony size on this class of ship. A real shocker for those who have cruised on the Grand Class...especially Caribe deck. ROXY GIRL Posted January 1, 2018 Author #6 Share Posted January 1, 2018 We are mid aft on port side.
deliver42 Posted January 1, 2018 #7 Share Posted January 1, 2018 We were mid forward on the marina deck, and loved the location. The cabins are smaller than I'm used to, but i really had no problem with the size of the balcony, even though it's on the small side.We even had the ultimate Balcony dinner on it. jasbo49 Posted January 2, 2018 #9 Share Posted January 2, 2018 We are mid aft on port side. That would be directly under the buffet seating area. Probably fine most of the day, but some people have reported noise from crew moving chairs and tables around early and late. Jim
