Moving booking from online TA to princess

My booking was released this afternoon and our total price immediately went down by $196 from the TA's discounted price (about 8%.) I did have to give up $85 obc from the TA, but even with that I'm still about $110 ahead.

 

DH has a casino discount attached to his booking number, but the TA had also factored in the casino discount. I don't know why she is higher than the rate we get through Princess, but a few months ago I sent her another booking to see if she could do any better and her response was "that's a great price - there's nothing I can discount." So I feel confident that we are doing fine booking direct and much prefer being able to deal directly with Princess.

 

And even though Princess said they would take 3 business days to make the change, they did it sooner.
