Kanebaby Posted January 5, 2018 #1 Share Posted January 5, 2018 Has anyone bought a Dyson hairdryer on the navigator of the seas? I just bought one and I’m not sure if I’ll be able to use it on my cruise in a few weeks. It does have a two prong plug it also has a power pack kind of like a laptop has. Any help would be appreciated.
wolfegizmo Posted January 5, 2018 #2 Share Posted January 5, 2018 I really like my Dyson hair dryer, but because of its cost and weight, I would not bring it on a cruise. Sent from my iPad using Forums
SM Cruiser Posted January 21, 2018 #3 Share Posted January 21, 2018 Bringing my Dyson, don't expect there'll be any problems. The hairdryers supplied by the cruise line are a joke, I'd be hours trying to do my hair with those.
lbjen Posted January 21, 2018 #4 Share Posted January 21, 2018 You’ll be able to plug it into any of the regular sockets like any other hair dryer, but if you mean will you be able to use it in the bathroom, the outlets in the bathroom are only for shavers, and your hairdryer likely doesn’t have an adapter for that. cb at sea Posted January 21, 2018 #5 Share Posted January 21, 2018 All of my hairdryers have a "power pack" sort of thing on the plug...works just fine on the ship. The provided dryers don't blow worth a damn!
A2Mich Posted January 22, 2018 #6 Share Posted January 22, 2018 The “power pack”is a built in GFCI (ground fault interrupt).
