Question about Grand balcony cabins

I am helping my daughter choose a cruise for she and her husband and need some help please. They have not cruised before so I want it to be GREAT! She is looking at the Grand out of Galveston. What deck or area is the best for a balcony cabin (quiet, convenient)- assuming there are any left for Feb/Mar.

Thanks for any info.

I have been on the Grand 3 times and the best cabins for a great balcony are on Caribe deck. They are half covered and half open and are the largest for the balcony decks. On Baja and Aloha the balconies get smaller the higher you go. Dolphin which has minisuites, has all open balconies and Emerald deck has some nice balconies but not many. The best to look for would be on Caribe deck.

Also mid ship gets the least amount of motion. Better start moving now, though. The mid ship cabins are on waitlist now for our early Feb. cruise and cruising will be busy with spring break during March. Have a great trip, you'll be hooked:)
