Alaska- August or September

I might be able to travel June, that seems a better option then Aug/Sept

Just has it all over August/September for more than one reason. The weather is generally better, true. What's even nicer is the much longer days, especially if you are there around June 20. Sunsets are very late, the lingering pink sky seems to last forever---certainly for hours---and before you know it, it's getting pink again for sunrise.

Even waking during the darkest part of the night you will see some light in the sky.

It will probably be too early for salmon in June, but if you go late enough in the month, you might see a few early-birds (so to speak).

June is definitely the best month of the three you have mentioned.
