Embarkation lunch

Hi all. Is the Windjammer the only lunch open for Embarkment? I remember it being a mad house on the first day of my one and only cruise. I will be going with my young kiddos, so I'm a bit anxious about it. Is there anything else open? Sailing the AOS out of Cape Liberty. Also, can anyone refresh my memory as to if there is food available at Cape Liberty port? If not, are you allowed to bring snacks? I feel like I remember there being chips. Just don't want 2 hangry and impatient kiddos. Thanks!

Adventure has Cafe Promenade in addition to Windjammer. Johnny Rockets (extra cost) may or may not be open right at boarding.

 

By the way, Allure is another "A" ship.

Rhapsody has Windjammer and Park Cafe in the Solarium.

Rhapsody has Windjammer and then Park cafe but that won't start until later.. I wanna say noon, or 1230. WJ is ready at 11 when you start boarding.

might want to see if Chops is open it was 18 dollars but great lunch we did it on sister ship Navigator. also its free for anyone in a GS or above
