DansChica Posted January 11, 2018 #1 Share Posted January 11, 2018 We are taking a Girls cruise out of Galveston in April on Vision of the Seas. This will be our first time on Royal (we've been on Carnival 3 times before - as a group). Wanted to find out if Royal offers a day of departure deal in the Spa. Carnival always does this if you tour the spa and they raffle off a spa package. This is when they make everyone a deal in the spa. They offer a pretty good deal on a massage and facial. Wanted to know if its worth our time to check out. Thanks!

Some raffles take place during spillway. some after sailaway. Check the cruise compass (newsletter) you will be given when you board. I have won and so has my husband. Always worth it to go. Can't tell you what will be on your cruise. There are always certificates they give everyone who has shown up for raffle for discount and special packages. You take the certificate and go to the desk and book. Also when you go to the spa on your boarding day they may be running special for that day. There are are always specials on port days as well. wolfcathorse Posted February 20, 2018 #4 Share Posted February 20, 2018 keep checking your cruise planner. I got a 50 minute massage for $89 ($105 with the gratuity) on embarkation day at 8:30 pm. It was offered as 20% off select spa services in my cruise planner about 2 weeks before we boarded. But the price is only for certain time slots so look closely.
