Kiwi Kruzer Posted December 20, 2005 #3 Share Posted December 20, 2005 [quote name=Host Jacquelyn The report says that one of the Santas "climbed the mooring line of a cruise ship before being ordered down by the captain." - does anyone have any idea what ship that was?[/quote] The ship was P&O Australia's Pacific Sky,ex Sky Princess (the last steam turbine cruise ship built). Sky is doing a series of Ak/AK christmas cruises at the moment before heading to Asia. She has been sold to Pulmantur cruises in Spain and will be leaving the P&O fleet in May 06. It is amazing how an incident like this has grabbed media attention,in fact I sometimes wonder if such events are actually staged for young and immature journalists who do not realise they are being used .Looks like the santas got all the publicity they set out to achieve!
