lynlyn Posted January 21, 2018 #1 Share Posted January 21, 2018 Can anyone recommend the Hike to Seven Sisters excursion with Marella ?
JerseyGirlatHeart Posted January 22, 2018 #2 Share Posted January 22, 2018 Did this hike years ago (through cruise ship), it was tough, but worth it at the end. Sent from my iPad using Forums
Curtzilla Posted March 4, 2019 #3 Share Posted March 4, 2019 One of my favorite of all Caribbean excursions. The hike is strenuous, moreso coming back (uphill). The falls are worth it though. Wear sturdy athletic shoes (trail runners are best), the trail down and up is difficult to do in sandals. Also, your shoes are likely to get muddy, it is in a rainforest. Once you get back to the top, there are locals that will clean the mud off your shoes for $5. Tip them a little more. There's a small vendor village at the main parking lot with the usual trinkets and t-shirts.
blastofftosj Posted January 11, 2020 #4 Share Posted January 11, 2020 We did this tour a few years ago, it was very strenuous and muddy. We were not prepared for this. Make sure you have plenty of water and good hiking shoes you don’t mind getting muddy
GeoKat27 Posted June 20, 2021 #5 Share Posted June 20, 2021 This is one of the excursions we were looking at for a trip this December. On the cruise website, it has an age limitation. Would anyone say this is ok for kids? Wondering if the age restriction is a suggestion based on difficulty or what.

I did a hike to honeymoon falls with Tropical adventures back in Jan 2020 and I think age 8 and up would be fine. Take a look at their website. Hopefully by then the restrictions will be lifted. We did the hike to the waterfall, swam for a bit then our guide took the 2 of us to show us various plants and trees (nutmeg, cinnamon...). It was about 4-5 hours and we were pretty dirty after the hiking part but there are people there that will clean your shoes.
