Viking Dinner Invitation???

I just checked into MyVikingJourney and I got a weird pop up. It said

Dinner Invitation

 

You've received a dinner invitation from {inviter} to dine with {inviteelist} at {restaurant} on {date} at {time}, located on {location}.

 

View on calendar

 

There is nothing extra on my calendar. I have no idea who this mystery invitation is from, nor any other info for that matter???

 

 

Anyone else get something like this?

I got it too, on both my cruises. Nothing on my calendar either. I imagine it’s some technical glitch.

Looked interesting, however didn't see anything after that.

Perhaps it’s a set up to allow people to invite others they meet on the cruise to dinner through the website. Or maybe for things like the M&M or the past guest party. And that cat got out of the bag ahead of its time :)

I thought the same thing. But I checked again an hour ago, and it was gone!

After 4 back and forth with Viking, and a call to our TA I think I now know who to go to. Well, what Viking says if you wish to ask people to join you for dinner. Of course doing this prior to departure.

 

"Email: guestservices@vikingcruises.com and they can walk you through this process."

I have not attempted this yet.
