Rare nikkiw60 Posted January 25, 2018 #1 Share Posted January 25, 2018 We are looking at (well I am, have not mentioned to DH yet..)the 11 night sailing in March Feb next year the cruise including Panama. My question is does it actually go on the canal and through a lock? Or do you do this as an excursion? Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Forums
dgakers Posted January 25, 2018 #2 Share Posted January 25, 2018 I don't believe it will transit the canal. I think the ship is too big. There are many excursions listed that will afford you that opportunity though. We're going next month (Feb 25 sailing) so I guess we'll find out for sure. sabres431 Posted January 25, 2018 #4 Share Posted January 25, 2018 We are on the Feb. 4 sailing. I don't believe it transits the canal. There is an excursion that does take you through it and a couple others that take you to the canal itself to see boats go through(potentially).
