Celebrit Summit Nightlife?

Hi everyone, wanted to get some opinions of people who have been on the Summit. I am a mid 30s male that is thinking of doing a April cruise, reposition 8 days. I am not looking for a party cruise but just want the ship to be active past 11 pm with some good deck parties or such. Based on your experiences, how was the nightlife on your cruise? Was there anyone in the nightclub? Bars? Just any thoughts or opinions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

We've sailed the Summit 4 out of the last 5 years.

Although our night usually consists of dinner, show and casino there are activities scheduled in the dailies pretty much every night in Revelations, where there is usually some type of gameshow at 10/10:30, followed by the ships live band or a dj for dancing. Not sure if it really gets going, as I've only been in there a couple of times when we've cruised for a few drinks and a couple of dances.

I've been in the casino as late at 1am, theres a bar there also, but the big draw is the Martini Bar steps away from the casino. Usually a very lively crowd up until 12/1am (at least when I've sailed)

Find a thread with the dailies posted and you can see what is usually scheduled as far as music/dancing etc.

I was on the Summit’s repositioning cruise in October, and there wasn’t much that I would describe as nightlife. There was always a crowd in the Martini Bar in the evening, and there were some parties like the silent disco. Nothing seemed too exciting, and the ship got quiet after midnight.

Repositioning cruises tend to attract an older than usual crowd, so nightlife tends to trend accordingly. There will always be at least one place going until midnight and maybe a bit beyond, but definitely not much partying going on. Non-repositioning cruises of 7 days or less in the Caribbean tend to have a bit more night life.

My friend and I thought the crowd on our cruise seemed older. We are in our 30s and saw only a handful of people in our age group. But when we mentioned this to a couple of staff in the MDR one night, they said the crowd on the ship that week was younger than they are used to.

Just ended a 7 night repo cruise on Summit yesterday. There is usually at least one area with late night music/dance, seems typically to be Revelations Lounge on Deck 11. Many bars will be open to 11 or 12 or later, but music/performers are usually done by 11. So it's definitely pretty mellow overall after 10.
