Doubletree Miami Airport

We are staying at the Doubletree at the Miami airport on 72nd Avenue. Looking for some fun things to do in the area and some good dining options. We will be there the day before the cruise. Thank you.

You are staying at an airport hotel. I have never seen an airport hotel with fun things to do and great dinning options near by.

 

The closet thing would be Dolphin Mall, its a large outlet mall with a lot of places to eat too. There is also Doral City Centre not that far away. You would need to drive/Uber/Lyft there. But really you could even just take a bit of a longer drive 25-mins or so and head to Miami Beach or 15-20min drive and head to Downtown Miami/Brickell. Uber/Lyft won't be much to either $12-$20 each way.

If you have a car, check out Coral Gables or Miami Beach. Much better dining and shopping options.

 

The airport area is pretty dismal.
