Oceania Riveria Barcelona to Lisbon Cruise in June

I will be traveling with friends on the Western Mediterranean Cruise from Barcelona to Lisbon. I have a couple of questions. Can anyone recommend the best excursions from Alicante, Spain, Malaga, Spain and Lisbon Portugal? I am not as familiar with these ports as I am some of the others. Also, has anyone ever done excursions through companies outside of the cruise line? And if so, who would you recommend? Any help at all will be greatly appreciated!

I have been to all of these ports and have always done them on our own. Admittedly, if you only have one day in port it can be more efficient to use a guide. We just haven 't done so.

 

As far as Lisbon is concerned, we had been there several times before we ever had a port of call so we knew what we wanted to do and how to get there.

 

Agree that the ports of call should be investigated!
