Celebrity room service

What is offered on Celebrity for room service? We had read earlier that you should order snacks or a sandwich to haul with you on your excursions the next morning. What is usually available on Celebrity Infinity? We're off to Alaska. Thanks

There is a very nice cracker and cheese plate. Sandwiches, cookies, croissants, small pizzas, hummus, etc...... Your best bet if you want to take something with you would be the crackers and cheese and perhaps a sandwich ( pack little zip locks with you ) and if you want to save money bring your own drinking bottle and or mug and fill it up. Also grab an apple or fruit from the buffet line. If you are travelling Concierge class there will be fruit bowl in your room. Hope this helps

Nadine

Also you can have an early breakfast brought to your room- the usual- eggs bacon, toast, cereal, and the list goes on.......

Do they have extra service charge for the room service apart from the tips?

Some (most!) ports don't allow meats, veggie, fruits or cheeses to be brought ashore. If you want to take snacks with you, then it should be the "pre-packaged" sort....chips, cereal, granola, etc... You can be fined if they think you're bringing something into a country that could introduce non-native pests...and they are serious about that!

There is generally no charge for room service....except for RCI's late night charge (which is the tip)
