Folding Beach Chairs

Not sure where is the proper forum for this question

 

We are cruising on the Anthem this summer leaving from Cape Liberty and live nearby. I am wondering if we could take folding beach chairs ( in a shoulder case) onto the ship? We have four ports and plan to go to the beach at each one. We already have a bungalow reserved for Labedee. It would certainly be more economical for the other three.

 

Has anyone done this?

As long as the chairs can fit through an airport type x-ray scanner, you should be fine.

On Celebrity, there were quite a few people walking around with portable beach chairs on embarkation day. They did look uncomfortable walking around the ship when they embarked as the rooms were not ready until 2:00pm.
