NZ_MO Posted February 9, 2018 #1 Share Posted February 9, 2018 Hi, has anyone had an obstructed view cabin on the Pacific Jewel? How obstructed was the view by the lifeboat? Looking at deck 8. :)Thanks!

Rare John Bull Posted February 9, 2018 #3 Share Posted February 9, 2018 We've sailed this ship a couple of times under her previous name, Ocean Village 2, when she was in P&O's UK fleet. It's not possible to give a sweeping statement about the degree of obstruction because it varies considerably, I guess from 10% (the last of the lifeboats obstructing a little to one side) to 100% (the entire window blocked by the middle of a damn big yellow-tarpaulined boat). You need to know (and be able to specify) a cabin number to get a decent view. If a view is important to you and you can't book a specific cabin then it's best to shell out the extra & book unobstructed. JB :)
