I have $2000 in American express gift cards, can they be applied to my sign and sail account when I get on the ship?

yes. You can apply them when you check in to get your SS card or go to guest services and they will apply them.

I would check to be sure they are accepting AMEX Gift Cards. I know they take AMEX credit cards but I believe they do not take AMEX Gift Cards.

I believe you would probably need to purchase cruise cash ahead of the cruise to credit your S&S account, use the gift cards to purchase the cruise cash. You could also use the gift cards to purchase cheers or an excursion ahead of time as well. Not so sure they will take the gift cards unless they are CCL GC?

I don't believe so. This is from the Carnival website and it only lists Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and Diner's Club (who uses that anymore!?!) branded gift cards as being acceptable.

I thought you could pay off S&S accounts with them,just can’t set up the account with them
