most current issues are higher up river but of course the water has to go somewhere and that is down river.

This shows the ship we are scheduled to be on, The Emily Bronte.  When I'm posting this, she has just left Belgrade.

 

I saw somewhere that the flooding is expected to be the worst in Budapest this Saturday.  We're not boarding for another 9 days after that.  As long as there isn't more crazy rain, I would think we're OK.

Fingers crossed we can get down to the delta, the main reason for me doing this cruise. I see from a river cruise company in Budapest that their leisure dinner cruises are cancelled until at least this Sunday due to the flooding - so a week for things to improve!
