Unibok Posted February 17, 2018 #1 Share Posted February 17, 2018 First-timer to the Caribbean, and I would love your advice: I'll be in Antigua on Weds, March 14th, with the chance to do either swimming/snorkeling with the stingrays in the morning, or a horseback ride on the beach in the afternoon. Both excursions are included in the cruise fare, so money is not a deciding factor. To put it in context, on Monday I'm headed to the Baths on Tortola, and on Tuesday the rainforest safari on St Kitts. The day after Antigua will be a catamaran ride on St. Maarten, followed by a quiet day, followed by snorkeling in the Sir Francis Drake channel. Horse or stingray? Which would you choose, and why? Rare jean87510 Posted February 18, 2018 #2 Share Posted February 18, 2018 I love both and did sting rays here and horse elsewhere. But, if this is a ship excursion the less crowded one is the horses. The sting rays will be pandemonium. You get in a line and someone holds stingray for you to get picture. I did this with 12 people privately and I can't imagine a cruise excursion. Something fun! Posted February 27, 2018 #4 Share Posted February 27, 2018 I would do the stingrays bc you can do the beach horseback ride almost anywhere.
StrikeEagle7 Posted April 30, 2018 #5 Share Posted April 30, 2018 Is there a private stingray excursion you recommend. Princess says 20 people but if we can go with smaller I am all in.

Fairgarth Posted May 24, 2018 #7 Share Posted May 24, 2018 There's only one way - taxi. Should be about 40 minutes at most.
