I love the new design of the staterooms on the Harmony. Utilizes the space so much better. We have a room on deck 8 near Dazzles over the carousel. It was too noisy to relax out on balcony in the evening but room was quiet once you shut the door. The bathroom sink is now deeper so filling up a large travel mug is possible. Kudos to the designers!!

We stayed in 8727 on Harmony last February and loved it. We could watch the shows in the Aqua Theater and the large screen movies from our balcony. While the shows were going you could hear them inside the room, but it wasn't all that loud. The room was very close to the Abyss slide and gave us a great view of the entire boardwalk area. Not much noise from the Abyss screamers (the tube you slide down kills the screaming effectively.

We have booked the same room on the Symphony TA this October.

Last March we had the last 4 aft Boardwalk Balcony cabins starboard side on deck #9...We were disappointed in how much of the view that was blocked by the Abyss (I booked these cabins before the news came out about the Abyss). Oh well got them at such an amazing rate.

We thought the nights that they played movies at the Aqua Theater they were loud especially when they went past midnight.

Sorry, but .... glad we experienced this category but wouldn't book it again.

For those of you who have sailed on the Harmony in a Boardwalk balcony.....what is the best deck to book to avoid some of the obstruction from the Abyss?

The purple monster is very close on deck 11/12 so lower down would have less of an obstruction.....
