Did you ever stay at McKinley View Lodge and is it far from Denali National Park? We have reservations at White Moose Lodge in Healy but we can change that. Also looks like they have a nice restaurant there. We can stay there if we can drive to Denali National Park for a day to take a bus shuttle. We can only go up to Toklat I think since the long buses dont start until June 1st when we are leaving.This is our first time in Alaska

Yes, I have stayed at Mary's. Magnificent Denali view. Extremely basic, no frills lodging (which is my style) but, was on the lower end of my experiences in Alaska.

 

As mentioned, it's 100 miles from the Park entrance.

I think

We will stop their on our way to Denali and back but will not stay overnight. Looking to stay closer to Denali National Park. So staying at White Moose Lodge in

Healy
