Rare Tom O. Posted December 25, 2005 #1 Share Posted December 25, 2005 Below is a link to a mileage chart I made of Mexican Riviera Ports. I thought I would share it with anyone who could make use of it. Distances are in regular statue miles and are always the most direct route. This information should be correct, but please let me know if there are problems. http://mysite.verizon.net/res76zxu/mexicanmileage/
hova Posted December 26, 2005 #2 Share Posted December 26, 2005 Thanks for the great mileage chart. Just a question though. Are the distances by land in most cases? I assume that between Mazatlan and Cabo San Lucas the distance is over water, is this correct?
rduke Posted December 27, 2005 #3 Share Posted December 27, 2005 I was amazed at the distance from San Diego to Acapulco....over 1700 miles....no wonder it takes Carnival Spirit 2 1/2 days to get there!! We will be enjoying every mile :D
Rare Tom O. Posted December 27, 2005 Author #4 Share Posted December 27, 2005 Thanks for the great mileage chart. Just a question though. Are the distances by land in most cases? I assume that between Mazatlan and Cabo San Lucas the distance is over water, is this correct? All distances are over water, and follow the shortest possible route that a ship would take, and includes miles for going around land forms that may be in the way.
