Big party?

I am looking at Carnival Valor out of Galveston 11/26/18 and it seems the only two lower floors have inside and OV rooms left. Is this unusual for being this far out? How can I tell if there is a big party booked?

On the Valor, like the Triumph and Glory, most of the OceanView cabins are on decks 1 and 2. Very few on the upper decks. Insides are on all passenger cabin decks. But OV are limited. The upper decks are the Balconies which sell better and at a higher cost. If you are looking for OV you are probably limited to deck 1 or 2.

Maybe a travel agent could tell if there's a big group but I don't know how you could see on your own. Call your favorite agent and ask.

You can sometimes find big parties by doing a Facebook Search for your Ship and Date. Many big parties will have communications through Facebook.

Some on here have also suggested to find a group cruise, Google the ship's name and date. If there is one booked, it should show up.

Mapsmith has it correct. Almost all OV's for Conquest class ships are on decks 1 & 2. The exceptions are Scenic OV on deck 9. There are also cabins listed as interior that have picture window on decks 6,7 and 10. These windows look out at a walkway but there's not really a view since the railing around the walkway is solid metal.

Also don't forget if you do a search for double occupancy you will not see availability that would occupy three or more people. Just as you would not see cabins that only accommodate two people if you are three or more.
