What are the guidelines for getting double points per sail day?

Before I call Crown & Anchor, I thought I might throw out this question to Cruise Critic

How does a 14 day cruise earn 28 points? Does the length of the cruise count more than the days out before the booking? :)

Book a Jr. Suite or up or go solo for double points.

 

Edited to add that there is no benefit to booking early or change in points earned per day based on the length of cruise.

Under the old system where you got a point for each cruise ( not night) you would get an extra point for being on a long cruise. Now that you get 1 cruise point for each night there’s nothing extra unless you are sailing solo, or are in a Junior Suite or above.
