This year we were on the Carnival Spirit and they had about 3 channels on Carnival, 3 channels for pay-for-view movies at $8, 1 movie channel same movie all day, 1 channel -Discovery/Aminal channel. We like to watch tv whiling we are getting dressed and at night. What do you get on the Enchantment of the Seas?

We were on the Enchantment in October. You get one news station, I think MSNBC, or CNBC; ESPN; TVLand type channel; and a kid's channel. Then there are 3-5 RCCL channels, one for shore excursions, one replays the entertainment from the night before, one is cruising educational, like interviews with the staff, one is a learning gaming channel. Then there are about 3-5 free movie channels that keep repeating and the show that was in English yesterday is shown on the Spanish channel today type of thing. Oh, we also had a Comedy Channel-like channel.

And the all popular "VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE" channel.

I was on enchantment in November. There was a movie that played on several channels just a different langague on each channel. A news Channel. A cartoon Channel. There was a nother channel that seemed to have friends on it every time we turned it on not sure what it was though. And then the ship channels that someone else mentioned. There was also a channel that showed a picture from the bridge during daylight hours and a route map and where were were on it at night.

There's generally a list of the days and times for fairly recent movies in the Compass. There is also a nostalgia channel with old sitcoms on one channel. The news channel is CNN international that tends to be somewhat negative about the U.S.. The sports channel is ESPN international (most of the time), so if you like soccer, you will love this channel. They do seem to be able to play Monday night football and the SuperBowl. I would guess they will have some of the 2 Jan games on in the sports bar or casino if not in the cabins.

As the other poster said, there are a few "ship" channels that show safety programs, a view from the bow, interviews with various crew, the shopping and port talks, some of the shows from the night before (if you're part of the "newlywed" game, you'll be a tv star for a few days). Also a channel showing the route, where the ship is, how far to the next port and the ship's speed ( some ships have different info on this channel).

None of them get network shows anytime except for some special sports show mentioned above.

Wondering if we'll be able to watch the Packer game while on the 10/28 Enchantment sailing. Is there a sports bar?

The Enchantment has no sports bar. We sailed last May on 5/27/06 and the NBA Playoffs (Miami v Detroit) were on the big 40" flat screen TV in the casino. I'm thinking it was a TNT feed. The game was not on the in-room TV. I think it's highly doubtful you'd catch a Packers game as they may very well show an NFL game in the casino... but it could be luck of the draw as to which one is on. And I doubt you could ask them to change the channel.
