Best way to get to Miami hotel from FLL airport?

Planning a cruise out of Miami and seeing cheaper flights into FLL. Looking for best options for hotel and transportation to hotel from airport, hotel to port, port to FLL airport. Thoughts?

We'd prefer a hotel that has complimentary shuttles to the port if possible.

Best way is in the back of a stretch limo with a stocked bar! :D

 

None of the downtown Miami hotels offers "free" shuttles to the port - plan on a $12-15 taxi ride or spending under $10 for an Uber or Lyft.

 

Uber or Lyft will get you from FLL to your downtown Miami hotel for about $35 - or spend $70 for a cab or $15+ per person for a shuttle -- the later you arrive into FLL the fewer shuttle options you'll find (and the more you'll pay).

 

Hampton Inn Mary Brickell is very popular with cruisers, offers free breakfast, and is near many local dining options. Other Miami hotels to check out include Holiday Inn, Doubletree, Hyatt, Intercontinental and several Marriott options.

 

You could also stay near FLL (probably for less $$) and then shuttle/Uber to Miami the morning of your crusie - www.sunny.org has lots of FLL area tourist and hotel info. ;)
