Mother’s Day

Hello! I will be on a Baltic Cruise with my parents for Mother’s Day and I was wondering if RC does anything special for the moms on board. Any experiences?

Sailed during Mothers Day a few years ago. Nothing special, but there were many "Happy Mother's Day" comments. You are lucky to be sailing with your mother that day.

Enjoy the special day with your mom! Mother's Day is not celebrated on the same day everywhere. It's called Mother's Day or Mothering Sunday in England and is March 11 this year. Not sure about other European countries, but probably won't be recognized on board, unless an announcement by cruise director.

 

 

I am originally from England and used to buy my card for my mum in May in the US and keep it for almost a year to mail! Couldn't buy in the US in March!
