Booked Early Saver, But Got Better Casino Rate

Hello All,

I'm booked on Valor in August for my 40th birthday. We always book Early Saver so we can get the price discounts until we sail. I just received an e-mail with a casino offer that is less than my Early Saver. Do I just fill out the Early Saver Price Protection form or do I have to call the Players Club? I do not want to change my room, because there is a group going and my room is with the others.

Any help is appreciated.

I had that happen a few months ago for our Feb 2018 booking. I called my PVP, and in order to get the casino rate I had to cancel our original booking and then re-book into the same cabin under the new rate. I think we lost a $50 obc we'd had, but the savings were several hundred dollars so it was worth it. [emoji849]

We haven't been on a cruise for years, so have newbie questions. Wondering who receives or how does one hear about a Casino Rate? We booked last June for Oct 2018 cruise and have a Military and 55+ Rate. Would we be considered for the Casino Rate?

Casino rates are sent out by invitation so check your offers under your Carnival account.

I called Carnivals normal Customer Service, they gladly price matched to my Casino offer and gave me an OBC, nothing complicated, took a couple of minutes. Received an email from Carnival documenting the new rate and the OBC. It was so Easy!!

You might have been able to keep your casino rate for another cruise after switching it out.
