Drink Package Discount Question

I purchased a drink package during the current 20% off sale. Last year I did the same thing and then the price dropped to 30% off. That time I easily cancelled and repurchased the package. My question now is, I applied my onboard credit to my current drink package. If I cancel it (should a cheaper deal appear) will the OBC magically pop back on my reservation? Looking for folks who have any experience with this type of situation. Thanks in advance.
