Lorey2007 Posted March 14, 2018 #1 Share Posted March 14, 2018 I have a few questions about Majesty of the seas 5 night Key West and overnight Havana cruise. Are all nights "Smart Casual" or is there a formal night? My Time Dining what dining room/deck is it on. What kind of nightly entertainment in the main theater can I expect? Will there be a Cruise Critic Meet & Greet? I know all my Cruise Critic cruisers will have all the answers.

Clarea Posted March 17, 2018 #4 Share Posted March 17, 2018 Nightly entertainment will be standard cruise ship production shows and headliners, such as comedians, magicians, jugglers, singers, etc.
Lorey2007 Posted March 17, 2018 Author #5 Share Posted March 17, 2018 How about formal night do they have one on a 5 night cruise or have they discontinued them like most other lines? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G930A using Forums mobile app
Clarea Posted March 17, 2018 #6 Share Posted March 17, 2018 How about formal night do they have one on a 5 night cruise or have they discontinued them like most other lines? Royal usually has one formal night on a 5-night cruise. However, they did not have formal nights on Cuba cruises. So we won't know for sure until Majesty starts sailing to Cuba. deliver42 Posted March 17, 2018 #7 Share Posted March 17, 2018 On any Royal ship, you can pretty much dress as you want, even on "formal"nights.
EatonDoolittle Posted March 17, 2018 #8 Share Posted March 17, 2018 As Bob says, it is unknown yet if Majesty will follow Empress' policies when traveling the Cuba route. It is true that there was no "official" formal night on the Empress (I just pulled out my dailies to double check), but I can tell you this: Overall, on my Cuba sailing in June, the passengers were far better dressed than is the norm on Royal Caribbean. Perhaps it was because there was a significant Latino presence, or just the general onboard feeling that this was a special, destination driven cruise, not just a short booze cruise to the Bahamas. The majority dressed nicely for dinner, some were very dressed up. I did not see people dressed as if to work in the yard or wash the car until the last sea day afternoon, heading home. There was a White Night Party, and Chef's Table.

Hello Lorey2007, I am taking this cruise to Cuba in August and we booked shore excursions in Cuba the 2nd night and 3rd day of cruise. I just called RCCL and they told me there is a formal night on the 2nd night but we won't be able to attend since going on an excursion in the evening. Did you have a formal night after all on this ship and did you take the excursions in Cuba? I need to know what to pack. Thanks, Travlingal64
