bdruzin Posted March 14, 2018 #1 Share Posted March 14, 2018 we have a midnight flight and wonder what we do with our luggage for the day after disembarking while sightseeing. TIA:)
Rare martincath Posted March 14, 2018 #2 Share Posted March 14, 2018 Head to the baggage storage desk at the pier - CDS. Send your bags to YVR for collection at their domestic terminal office. Pay $40 (unless you have >4 bags, in which case $10 per extra bag). Enjoy doing whatever you like all day, have a nice dinner, head out to the airport on SkyTrain about 10pm for $2.85pp, collect your bags (they're open until 11:30pm), check in for your flight. Rare Keith1010 Posted March 14, 2018 #3 Share Posted March 14, 2018 I would write to the Pan Pacific Hotel. They are located right at Canada Place and a couple minute walk from the terminal. I understand that for a fee they will hold your bags. It is a lovely hotel Have stayed there several times. Keith
xlxo Posted March 14, 2018 #4 Share Posted March 14, 2018 Another vote to send to airport with CDS. dock, breakfast, walk off look for the CDS desk next to car rentals, can be busy enjoy your day sightseeing at Grouse, Capilano, Stanley Park, Gastown, Granville Island, etc... 8pm board the Skytrain to the airport for the post 6:30pm discount arrive at the airport at 8:30pm to look for the CDS desk next to International arrivals grab your luggage, elevator up one floor for US departures 9pm begin check in and your complimentary security searches midnight wheels up on returning to Vancouver as you didn't budget enough time to take it all in.
