WestfieldTraveler Posted June 14, 2019 #26 Share Posted June 14, 2019 Ok, maybe I'm dense (normally don't gamble) - so for a slot pull does everyone share in the proceeds, including a jackpot, or do you keep your own winnings with just getting the extra prize if you are the biggest (or lowest - but don't a lot win nothing) winners? And assuming the cashier can split up the winnings do you get that in cash or on a room account? I'm also sort of confused as how you would accumulate a pot of winnings if you constantly changed cards in the machine (or do you not put in a card at all?) And I imagine that any non-us person would do to avoid taxes in case of a big win - correct?

Each player will get 5 pulls at $3 a pull. All monies will be split evenly regardless of who comes in where. For $20 buy ins the other $5 goes to the person who won the most. On our last cruise the person who ran the pull decided to divide the extra because we had so many playing. Hope I explained it well enough.

The money is divided evenly & everyone gets paid in cash at the end of the pull. Bring a cell phone/calculator and a piece of paper with you so you can give the breakdown to the cashier X amount of $20’s X amount of $1’s X amount of nickels etc Edited June 14, 2019 by Casino Comp Chick

(Side bet goes to the person who wins the most money in their spins) or you can do 4 spins at a $5 max bet machine with no side bet. Speak to the casino host on day one and they will probably donate a bottle or 2 of wine and you can give that to the big winner instead of a side bet. Just let them know what time to expect you, also do a walk through the casino to pick your machine (I never let the casino pick it for me). When picking your machine take into account the amount of people you will have and try not to pick a machine that will block hallways. As far as tracking the people/money, set up a spreadsheet with screenname, real name, paid (use checkmark as ppl pay you) and the following columns “spin 1,spin 2, spin 3 etc to how many spins you plan on using. As people spin on the machine write in the amounts of their wins and tally those as you go along. You can email me at iimmie@yahoo.com if you like and I can send you a spreadsheet I keep and you can edit the way you like. If you are still keeping track of this message board, PLEASE, PLEASE send me a copy of your spreadsheet. My cruisecritic message board address is Norweigean Escape September 15, Crusing Grandmother. WOF has $3, $5, $15 & $20, max bets depending on the version. QH has $3, $5 (dollar version) and up max bets. The penny version can be changed to nickels, quarters, dollars etc

leithbones Posted December 19, 2019 #49 Share Posted December 19, 2019 We participate in every CC slot pull available on our cruises. We met some of our closest cruise-buddies, whom we still make time to see 6 years after, at a slot pull. My only (minor) complaint is when the machine selected is difficult to view for a large crowd: located at a deadend, squeezed into a narrow aisle of other games, a 'low' machine height-wise, or too close to another group event. Lots of fun to play, but as stated upthread, sometimes you're only aware of what's happening during your 60 seconds at the helm.

Just wondering if you still had a copy of the spreadsheet for slot pulls. I'm trying to organize one for this March and this would be super helpful!
