Sometimes the kids don't even need the rocks. An empty box might amuse them for a while.

Do your homework bit don't be afraid and just stay on the ship. We took a 1 and 3 year old to Jewel. All inclusive with beach and kids waterpark. They had a lot of fun. We booked privately, had a van with seat belts, took their car seats and they had a great day. Just be smart about it. Otherwise I'd at least get off and go to Margaritaville.
