What time does the shops open?

What time do the shops open ? My family is going to Grand Turk and we are doing an excursion that ends around the time that I dont thing we will have much time after the tour before we need to board. Our ship is in port from 7 am to 230 and we booked and excursion that is from 1045 to 145 . We booked thru Carnival. Most of my excursions I have done in the past were for things that were done just after the boat allowed you off the ship but it seems this one we might have some time to shop first . Also what kind of souvenirs would you suggest from the port . My 9 year old wants to get something from each port , In Grand Turk we are doing the catamaran sail away excursion . If someone has any feedback on that we appreciate that as well . .

I'd expect some of the shops to open when the ship arrives. The DuFry shop WILL be open, of course; you have to walk through it. :)

I’m pretty certain the shops open when the ship arrives and closes when the ship leaves. Not much else for these shops to be open but for the cruise ship passengers
