Thecat3902 Posted March 25, 2018 #1 Share Posted March 25, 2018 Does anyone know if we need sneakers for the zip line? Are there any specific requirements to ride? starting to pack since we leave on the 31st. Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Forums
tallnthensome Posted March 25, 2018 #2 Share Posted March 25, 2018 I was watching some videos of riders on the zipline today on YouTube and I saw bare feet. Now, that was just an observation.
Thecat3902 Posted March 25, 2018 Author #3 Share Posted March 25, 2018 Thanks. I think when we did royal Caribbean we had to have closed shoes. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
mreic082 Posted March 25, 2018 #4 Share Posted March 25, 2018 You can go barefoot. There is a height requirement, but I’m not sure what it is. Maybe 52 inches. I think there might be a weight requirement too...75 lb? My advice would be to go as soon as you see that it’s open, because they close it if it’s windy, so take the chance while you get it. It’s really fun! Tickets can be purchased where the slide board exits in the water park area. The tickets are in the same line as the water slide waiver line. Do you happen to know what they were charging for a single ride on the zipline?
pappahbuttz Posted March 26, 2018 #6 Share Posted March 26, 2018 I saw on a youtube it was $10 pre ride, or you can purchase unlimited cabin for I think $75. All users have to sign a waiver as well.
hummer88 Posted March 26, 2018 #7 Share Posted March 26, 2018 On our cruise March 10-17, I saw it was $5 per ride or $20 for the cabin. This was on Wednesday or Thursday, I'm not sure if they would have a "deal" on certain days, but that was definitely the price that was posted on the tv screens. pappahbuttz Posted March 26, 2018 #8 Share Posted March 26, 2018 Sorry, it was $10 per ride and $50 (not 75) for the cruise
marcoigna Posted March 26, 2018 #9 Share Posted March 26, 2018 when we sailed a few weeks back -$10.00 / ride -$20.00 unlimited for entire cabin for week -Free for Yacht Club Guests. it seems to change often until they find the right formula.... cruzeluver Posted March 26, 2018 #10 Share Posted March 26, 2018 Bare feet are fine, just no shoes without a back (like flips-flops) as they can fall off. We really loved the zipline on Seaside. Rode it quite a few times. Paid $50.00 for the week and covered both of us in our stateroom.
FIREFIGHTERCRUISER Posted March 26, 2018 #11 Share Posted March 26, 2018 Just got off on the 24th. You can go with or without shoes. They just asked that you're not wet. It was 5 per ride or 24 the room. We had four in our cabin and I think we wrote it about 8 or 10 times total. Well worth it. One time we did have to wait about 40 minutes. Other times we went really early or on Port days and could ride in less than five. Sent from my SM-G920P using Forums mobile app
kimala Posted August 4, 2018 #12 Share Posted August 4, 2018 Are they charging for the water slides?
pappahbuttz Posted August 4, 2018 #13 Share Posted August 4, 2018 No, the water slides are free, however all users must sign a waiver and wear a bracelet to show they did so. On the Seaview (not sure about Seaside) one of the two side by side slides was quicker and more fun !
