Eastern Caribbean Excursion suggestions

We are sailing next month on the Equinox to the eastern Caribbean with port stops in San Juan, St Maarten,

St Thomas, Punta Cana and Nassau.

We have never been to any of these port and would appreciate any suggestions for excursions.

Only interested in probably one beach trip, otherwise more culturally oriented.

For San Juan you'll dock right at Old San Juan. It's a very walkable area but also has a free trolley if you are so inclined. We also stopped at St Thomas and St Maarten this trip each for the second time. We prefer St Maarten which also has a handy beach right at the boardwalk. OSJ is probably the most recovered from the hurricanes. The Sts still have noticeable damage. Even so I'll bet you enjoy the trip.
