Top tip for first cruise ?

Recommended Posts

I enjoy reading all the great advice and responses to posts on the forum . As its my first cruise comin up in May on the Symphony of the Seas can I ask from your expierences what would be your one top tip / piece of advice you can give so that I get the best out of my time onboard ?

Thanks.

This was true for my first cruise, and may be especially true for a ship of this size. DON'T WORRY ABOUT DOING EVERYTHING IN ONE WEEK. THEY LET YOU COME BACK!

Take the time to wander the halls and admire the artwork, even along all the halls that are just cabins. You might be surprised at some of the great things (and horrible choices) they have hanging on the walls.

I agree with this one, and it is especially true of the Oasis class ships. I make a point to do every stairwell on the Oasis class ships from deck 1 to 15. It was on Jewel that they did an art tour and walked everyone one around and gave useful information about many pieces. I didn't think I would enjoy this as much as I did and there was no sales pitch!
