Carnival makes THE BEST Appletinis. YUM! Drink 'em slow as they are potent.

I see this is a Princess drink, but what is it and can Carnival bartenders make this???

 

Yes. This is not exclusive to Princess. I had a few on our last cruise, on the Vista. Looking forward to having a few more on our next cruise, on the Magic.

 

Carnival Cruise Lines

Yellow Bird - Recipe

 

Recipe Category: Drinks - Alcoholic

Yield: 1 Serving

 

Ingredients:

• 1 oz Bacardi Light Rum
  
• 1/4 oz Galliano
  
• 1/4 oz Creme de Banana
  
• 2 oz Orange Juice
  
• 1 oz Pineapple Juice
  

Instructions:

• Blend all ingredients together. Pour over ice. Garnish with an orange slice and cherry.
  

 

 

I got mine at the Red Frog Pub, but I'm sure any bar on board can make one (or two, or more) for you.

I love a Remedy from the Alchemy Bar. One sip and I was addicted. Thank goodness for Cheers!! Only down side is the Alchemy doesn't open until later in the day...

Haven't seen this one.....but I am intrigued! I will mention it to a bartender in a few weeks.

Just had the Spicy Chipotle Pineapple Martini from the Alchemy bar. AMAZING!!!! I shied away from it because I don't like spicy hot food and I'm a girly drink drinker i.e. Miami Vice, etc. But it's not hot at all. I could hardly taste any spicy hotness. Just nice and sweet. I couldn't taste the alcohol either. But that may not be a good thing :-)

My first drink is always the fun ship.

Then I mix it up a lot depending on what bar I'm closest too, but on my last carnival cruise they had a menu out on our last night that was different mule recipes. The tropical mule quickly became a favorite.
