Majesty of the Seas - Cabin 6500

Curious if anybody has been in cabin# 6500 on Majesty.

We sail out on Friday 4/6/18, and was given this as an OV guaranty.

I know it is right at the bow.

I've read that we will be "Guarding the anchor", so we should expect bow noise when dropping anchor.

 

I've read that on Monarch, the cabin actually was/seemed larger than a standard OV. Anybody have any thoughts firsthand about this cabin layout?

It's short and wide....should feel roomy! That high up, I doubt the anchor will bother you much!

We stayed in 6506 and it got very warm during the day which is right next door. The room got uncomfortably hot during the day. Bring a small portable fan and pull down the shade on the window during the day. I don't remember any anchor noise, but we are early risers.

6500 is noisy.  The window is right to a deck where they always seem to be working on something.  Tons of noise from power tools.
