Excellent story, thanks for posting. The same author wrote about the Air France 447 crash in a 2014 article and provided great background to that incident.

I appreciate the posting of this sobering story. Interesting to read and I wonder if any others find some of the same mistakes/decisions that were made on the El Faro to be similar as to what were made that caused the Costa Concordia tragedy.

 

May God rest the souls of the El Faro's crew.
