Soda Cards

I don't think they've actually gone to the punch cards, yet. We were on the Westerdam week before last and the card was still the unlimited for $28.50 (I think). When I asked the crew selling them about the new deal (which I would rather have had), they had no clue what I was talking about.

Old soda cards? New soda cards? Total confusion.

I was given three different stories by three different Holland America employees prior to my cruise and finally ordered a soda card for $18.75 on the understanding it would only cover 20 CANS. Lo and behold, I arrived on the ship 12/21, they slapped a sticker on my Sign and Sail card, and I was away at the races for UNLIMITED FOUNTAIN DRINKS. They did, however, put 20 cans in my stateroom...but no one ever questioned the sticker or asked me to sign for my drinks! Go figure.

I come away with the feeling that HAL doesn't yet know what its own policy is. However, I did have a FABULOUS cruise - with an unexpected deal on the Coke................
