Summit Casino Question

I am not a huge gambler, but I do love the craps table. Does the casino on the Summit have a craps table? If the answer is yes can anyone describe the action on it, is it normally busy or slow? Are the dealers trying to keep the action moving at a fast pace? What is the minimum bet, and what are max odds on the pass line?

Mike

Mr. Mike,

Yes sir, the Summit does have a craps table. The action is completely dependent on how lively the cruise/casino is when you are sailing.

I believe on some cruises the minimum is $5.00, and on some cruises the minimum is $10.00.

I am not not sure about the odds on the pass line. Every time I have tried to learn how to play, my money runs out before I learn anything. :')

Ed,

Thank you for the reply.

Someone also told me that the waffles are really good and that if you aren't on my sailing that I might actually get to try them.

The craps table is one of the most variable gambling options on every cruise. At times it can get very active (admittedly rare) and most of the time it sits unused...or perhaps with one or two players playing from one end. I used to enjoy craps on cruises, but unless there's a crowd, I just skip it now. Max pass odds are 5:1. As previous poster said, some cruise are $5 and some $10 minimum bets....no way to predict. (ditto on blackjack tables where they occasionally try to have only $25 minimum tables which very quickly drop to $10 tables).

I have always wondered about the one table that is always there...the $50 minimum blackjack table. On all our cruises, I've never seen it used...until our just completed cruise. One gentleman could be found there in the afternoon and evening playing alone and betting the $500 maximum per hand (no idea if he won or lost....I was busy picking up my chin from the floor).
