Cruise Directors?

Do cruise directors overlap when there is a change up? I'm sailing on the Vista on 7/8, on the schedule it shows Matt Mitcham ending on 7/14 and Jamie Dee starting 7/8.

There is usually a 1 week overlap for a "hand off", in which case the outgoing CD will be the official CD for the cruise.

I'm also sailing on July 8th and was wondering the same thing because we booked 3 weeks earlier than usual to have Matt as CD. He's brilliant and has us laughing at all times!

Had Jamie Dee on the Paradise earlier this year and wasn't overly impressed with her.

Jaime Dee will not be on the ship as she announced that she would be leaving Carnival in May.
