Baires Posted April 23, 2018 #1 Share Posted April 23, 2018 Hi! Question: is it safe to show up at the Comfort Suites without a reservation to "get a room" that we won't step foot into, just to get the Atlantis passes? I didn't want to risk making reservations in case it rains or there's some other change of plans, and since we won't be using the room anyway, it shouldn't matter even if the place is sold out. Are reservations required? Thanks!
scubagirrl Posted April 24, 2018 #2 Share Posted April 24, 2018 Reservations are generally required. Rooms sell out, and just because you aren't using the room, they won't rent one if they don't have the inventory.
drneal Posted April 24, 2018 #3 Share Posted April 24, 2018 I reserved a room on travelocity for Dec 25. Comfort suites would only rent for 2 or more days. All in cost $415 for 2 A, 2 C I can cancel by Dec 20, so I should be able to see the weather report. Also there is indoor activity and if it's not too bad you can still use the water park. Have you read about anyone doing this on a cruise? Can we get our wristbands before we get our room?

You should double check that number, I just did a dummy booking for 2 nights, 2 adults, 2 children, and it came out to $1032, which makes sense, it usually comes out to around $100 pp for one night after taxes and fees, and that is a holiday period. Sorry. To be clear I was able to book one night on the thrid party site. Comfort suites wanted 2 night minimum. So yes your $100/person/ nt is correct
cruise-addict Posted May 6, 2018 #6 Share Posted May 6, 2018 Will they charge extra fees upon arrival?
caszos Posted May 7, 2018 #7 Share Posted May 7, 2018 Will they charge extra fees upon arrival? We are looking into pricing as well. For us, when we book a room for 4 adults, there is an extra $80 surcharge. The room rate is $315, but after taxes/fees/surcharge, its over $550 which is pretty expensive. I would NOT show up without a reservations. there are only so many passes
